Program Staff and Volunteers

The DFC is always looking for fun, passionate, responsible role models to help bring our programs to life! A one-time application allows you to choose the programs you would like to be involved in for the year. Acceptance into a program is based on a leadership review of your application, references, clearing a background check, your signing of the DFC code of conduct, and the needs of the program.

In 2024, applications will be taken for the following events

  • Camp to Community - Hickory, NC, March 23rd

  • Camp Morris - King, NC - June 9th - 15th

  • Fall Teen Retreat - King, NC - October 18- 20th

  • Family Teen Retreat - King, NC - October 18- 20th

  • Camp to Community - NC - Date and location TBA
